Meet Coach Marcus Dixon 

An intense, fiery, dynamic trainer on the basketball court, to a fun, open, laid back personality off of the basketball court. Marcus gives all that he has to mold athletes into becoming the best versions of themselves on and off the hardwood. 

A former Division 1 multi sport athlete, coaching was always in the future for Marcus. His coaching career started back in 2013 with a U17 AAU boys team. Since 2013 Marcus has coached multiple AAU teams ranging from 13U to 16U, high school showcase teams and currently is an assistant coach for a varsity prep high school team. 

Marcus's player development career launched in 2016 by the way of Damin Altizer (Owner/Founder Driven Training). From that moment, Marcus has been very fortunate to work with a wide variety of age and skill levels from youth level to the professional ranks. Marcus has had the opportunity to work very closely with the UVA men's Basketball team including, Justin Anderson (21st pick in 2015 NBA Draft) Ty Jerome (24th pick in 2019 NBA Draft), DeAndre Hunter (4th pick in 2019 NBA draft, Devon Hall (53rd pick in the 2018 NBA draft) Trey Murphy (17th pick in 2021 NBA draft) Other local athletes include Kymora Johnson (UVA), Mamadi Diakite (UVA) Samatha Brunelle (University of Notre Dame), Jayden Nixon (UVA), Carter Lang (Vanderbilt), Chris Rogers (Trevecca), Ryan Ingram (Swarthmore) Justin Mckoy (UNC), Derrick Jones (Radford), Karsten Graham (NJIT), Josh Morse (Roanoke), Sihle Mthethwa (Miami)

Marcus has been very fortunate to have the opportunity to learn from the games best coaches and trainers including Dick Bennett, Tony Bennett (UVA), Richie Mckay (Liberty), Ron Sanchez (Charlotte) Cody Toppert (LSU), Mike Rhodes (VCU) and many more. Marcus's professional and knowledgable approach has cultivated some of the best talent in the nation. His intensity, intent, and preparation is seen at every session, as a result his clientele is rapidly increasing.
